We recommend that you always login to cPanel using our secure connection from within your Client Area. That way you do not need to remember the Username and Password for cPanel and more importantly, the connection between your computer and your cPanel is protected and encrypted by our 256-AES SSL certificate.
Accessing your Hosting Control Panel (cPanel) via your Free Website Hosting UK Client Area
When you opened your account you received an email with the subject "Welcome to Free Website Hosting UK". This email contains the details of how to login to your client account with us.
To access your cPanel using our secure connection:
1. Login to your Client Area.
2. Click on "My Products & Services".
3. Click on the "View Details" button to the right of your hosting plan.
4. Click on the "Login to cPanel" button and it will log you in automatically, without having to remember or enter your cPanel Username and Password. You will also see that this is a secure connection by the "https" in the URL and the "padlock" in the browser.
Accessing your Hosting Control Panel (cPanel) Directly
Although you can access your Hosting Control Panel (cPanel) directly across the internet, we recommend that you always login to your cPanel using our secure connection from within your client area. However, should you wish to access your cPanel directly the details were included in the email with the subject "New Account Information" that we sent you when we activated your account.
You would need to visit the cPanel URL you were given, which should be https://yourdomainname.com:2083/ (or .co.uk, .net, .org or whatever tld you use for your domain) and login with the Username and Password contained in the email.
